Chairman's Listening Tour: Democratic Party of Mora County Breakfast Meet & Greet

The Democratic Party of Mora County (DPMC) in conjunction with the Democratic Party of New Mexico (DPNM) hosted a Breakfast Meet & Greet for Party members and local activists on Sunday May 27th, 2007. DPNM Chairman Brian Colón stopped by Mora as he visited Taos, Las Vegas, and Raton on Memorial Day Weekend. The weekend of visits is part of the DPNM’s statewide Chairmen's Listening Tour, which will be visiting every one of New Mexico's 33 counties .

Party Members enjoyed a pancake breakfast at the Cowboy Kitchen while they discussed local issues and the 2007 NM Legislative Session. Chairman Colón ensured the Party Leadership that the DPNM will be providing resources and training for the upcoming election season.

New Mexico will host a Presidential Caucus on February 5th, 2008. The DPNM will be charged with organizing the statewide election and will need to rely on the volunteer efforts of each of the county Democratic Party organizations.
