“Powermoves Empowering the Youth” Annual Block Party

A
gentleman named Jon Chavez is putting together
a youth event entitled “Powermoves Empowering
the Youth” Annual Block Party which will take
place on Friday July 27th, 2007 at
The
mission of this event is to prevent and keep
the youth away from drugs, alcohol, violence
and gangs and to provide a variety of positive
influences and role models through
entertainment, celebrity and professional guest
appearances and activities. This event will
also be used as a platform to raise money for
school supplies for underprivileged children.
This is an excellent way to utilize music and
entertainment to lead the community youth
toward a positive and successful life.
Over 1500 children and parents are
anticipated at this year’s event. Event
organizers are currently looking for community
support and donations. They are looking
for donations of activities, school supplies,
and more. Below are a few things needed.
