I was elected to the SPARC in 2018 and understand how it works. During my initial tenure I participated in meetings with residents in Grants, Deming, and Hobbs. I also worked within SPARC to edit and add to our platform in weekly meetings.
My goal is to represent the concerns of Democrats in CD-2 which is geographically large, sparsely occupied and remote.
We need to better listen to New Mexicans who live in CD-2 and issues important to them.
- Access to medical services,
- Access to broadband
- Access to education
- Access to water for agriculture.
- Environmental degradation from a resource extraction economy
We need to better protect the land we live on and the water we drink.
I am a policy wonk, political activist, member of MoveOn, Chairperson of Indivisible LAS CRUCES, Treasurer for Joanne Ferrary, and volunteer canvasser for the Doña Ana County Democratic Party.
