Absentee Voting

As COVID-19 affects the lives of so many New Mexicans, we all must do our part to get through this crisis together. The Democratic Party of New Mexico is asking all of you to help us continue our work to keep New Mexico blue.

Take these three easy steps to help:

Step 1 – Confirm your Voter Registration

Click Here to Confirm that you are registered to vote and that your information is up to date. With absentee balloting likely to increase, it’s especially important that your address is up-to-date.

If you are not registered or need to update your information Click here to Register.

If you prefer to print out a voter registration form and mail it to your county clerk’s office click Print out Voter Registration Form (English) / (Español)

Contact information for your county clerk’s office can be found HERE.

Step 2 – Request an Absentee Ballot

At this time the Primary and General elections are scheduled to proceed with both in-person and absentee balloting, however, the Democratic Party of New Mexico strongly recommends that you request an absentee ballot to be sent to your home to allow you to vote by mail. By voting from home, we can all help reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Click here to Request an Absentee Ballot online. A mailed ballot must be requested no later than 11:59 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2020. DPNM recommends that you request your ballot no later than Thursday, May 21, 2020.

If you prefer to print out Absentee Ballot Request and mail or deliver it to your county clerk’s office click HERE.

Step 3 – Spread the Word!

You and 5 friends make your commitment to voting absentee now!

Make sure they register to vote, request an absentee ballot and pass it on to others. Share your commitment by completing our form by clicking HERE.

By taking these three simple steps,  you can help DPNM make a difference and make sure our voices are heard. We all have a duty to protect our democracy in these times, and together we will get through this now and in November.
