Update from the Director of Communications, Miranda van Dijk
As of March 18, 2020
Our Communications team has been working diligently to modify our plans and strategies during the COVID-19 epidemic. Our primary focus is to keep everyone safe and healthy, while still encouraging Democrats to reach out to members of their communities.
As a result we have created a Virtual Campaigning resource on our website. This site will provide resources for staff, volunteers, campaigns and the general public to stay involved with our work. DPNM is conducting trainings that cover a variety of topics such as the Delegate Selection Process, Data Trainings, and – my personal favorite – Social Media Basics, which I will be leading. Click HERE to register for our next training.
We are also working to highlight the incredible work our elected officials are doing. Our leaders in at the federal, state, and local levels are proving exactly what happens when we elect Democrats. We are planning a statewide project in which we thank our elected officials and we would love your help! Click HERE to find out more information.
As always please join us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @NMDEMS. We will be using our social media platforms to share information and inform followers about ways to get engaged and help keep our state blue. We’re know the upcoming months won’t be easy. but together we will get through this. We’re still fired up, we’re still energized, and we’re still Starting Strong.
