The false claims made by election deniers in the GOP continue to fan the flames of radicalized extremism. We all know that the line from Solomon Peña and the violence witnessed on January 06th can be traced right back to Trump and his false claims about the 2020 election. I am pleased to see that the NM GOP denounced these attacks, but it is imperative that they go further and address the root cause of the attacks. If the GOP has any interest in preventing this senseless violence from recurring, they must reject any and all baseless claims of election fraud.”
