DPNM Statement on New Mexico’s CD-2 Race

DPNM Chair Marg Elliston released the following statement regarding the results of the race:

“Representative Xochitl Torres Small has been an amazing advocate for New Mexicans over the past two years. She ran a strong campaign, and we have been proud to support her every step of the way. While we are disappointed by this outcome, we know that Representative Torres Small will continue to find ways to give back to her community and to serve the people of Southern New Mexico.”
