Herrell Won’t Debate, Refuses to Answer Questions and Tries to Hide Ties to Special Interest Groups
Las Cruces, N.M. – The Albuquerque Journal has published the general election questionnaire for the Republican nominee for New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District, D.C.’s ALEC-backed, morally and ethically challenged career politician, Yvette Herrell.
Herrell who was caught on tape bragging about her ties to the Koch Brother funded ALEC, changes her tune and removed any association with the group from her biography from the same exact questionnaire that was sent when she was seeking the nomination of the Republican Party.
“When the going gets tough, career politician Yvette Herrell will do and say anything to get elected,” said Alex Howard, Deputy Communications Director for the Democratic Party of New Mexico. “It should come as no surprise that Herrell who continues to fall in the polls is trying to distance herself from ALEC after taking trips on the taxpayer’s dime to attend their conferences. She’s choosing Washington, D.C. over New Mexico. Herrell can’t be trusted to commit to her word or do right by us.”
