New Mexico Democrats Announce New Mexico for All

This year, New Mexico Democratic campaigns up and down the ballot are joining together into New Mexico for All and consolidating organizing capacity into a single team, with almost 30 organizers working out of 15 offices across the state. By consolidating field and data operations into one organization, NM for All will activate more volunteers, engage more voters, and help lead a historic slate of candidates to victory in November.

Complementing our field organizing staff, the DPNM has staff focused on voter protection, data management, volunteer recruitment, and digital strategy, to elect the entire Democratic ballot—from state legislative races to re-electing Martin Heinrich to the U.S. Senate.

With unprecedented enthusiasm and organization, Democrats are organizing in every ZIP Code to fight for good jobs that pay a livable wage, affordable health care for all, and equal opportunity and dignity for every New Mexican.

2018 is the year of the woman and New Mexico For All represents women up and down the ballot. Women make up about half of our statewide and federal candidates this cycle, including Michelle Lujan Grisham, Deb Haaland, Xochitl Torres Small, Maggie Toulouse Oliver, and Stephanie Garcia Richard. In addition, 30 Democratic women are on the ballot for State Representative and joining them are all 5 Democratic nominees for the Court of Appeals.

Also, thanks to a historic grant from the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Party of New Mexico has been able to hire 2 organizers to work exclusively with New Mexico’s Native American communities.

Democrats are poised to make history in 2018, not out of inevitability, or destiny, or a “blue wave,” but because our candidates up and down the ballot are out-working and out-organizing our opponents. We’re building a New Mexico for All, one step at a time.
