Joining them are newly elected DPNM Secretary Pamelya Herndon of Albuquerque and reelected DPNM Treasurer Robert Lara of Las Cruces. In addition, SCC members from each congressional district elected the following Vice Chairs (one male, one female) from each district:

Said Chair Elliston, “I’m honored to have earned the confidence of an enthusiastic and energized Democratic Party for a full term as chair. We’re focused on lifting up every working family in New Mexico and I think we have just the team to do that.”These officers’ terms begin immediately and run through 2021.

At this hour, the meeting continues as members of the SCC elect members to the Affirmative Action, State Platform and Resolutions (SPARC), and Budget committees.
