Pearce Silent on Arnold-Jones’s Racist Comments

This morning, candidate for Congress Janice Arnold-Jones appeared on Fox News and insulted Native Americans throughout the country by questioning her opponent, Deb Haaland’s, heritage as an enrolled member of the Laguna Pueblo, because she wasn’t ‘raised on a reservation.’

So far, Republican candidate for governor Steve Pearce has remained silent.

“If Steve Pearce thinks he’s capable of representing all New Mexicans, condemning Janice Arnold-Jones’s comments should be a no-brainer. Whose side are you on, Steve?” said Joe Kabourek, Executive Director of the Democratic Party of New Mexico.
