NM Dems on Early Childhood Moonshot

Tonight, the New Mexico House passed a bill to amend the state constitution in order to expand early childhood education. Marg Elliston, Chair of the Democratic Party of New Mexico, released this statement:

“Throughout my career working for quality early childhood education, it was painful to see kids who didn’t get the chance for a great early childhood experience. They never got a fair shot and the effects of that inequality endure through adulthood. We finally have the opportunity to erase that injustice. I applaud the House on passing the education moonshot and urge the Senate to do the same.”
