Resolution 2023-08, Ceasefire Israel-Palestine
Resolution 2023-08, THE NEW MEXICO CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION MUST DEMAND THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION CALL FOR AND FACILITATE THE NEGOTIATIONS FOR AN IMMEDIATE DE-ESCALATION AND CEASE-FIRE IN ISRAEL AND OCCUPIED PALESTINE, has passed out of SPARC and will now go to the SCC for a vote. We will refer to this resolution in a shortened version, Resolution 2023-08, Ceasefire Israel-Palestine.
Timeline:
Tuesday, November 28, 2023: DPNM notified the SCC that the Public Comment Period will start the following day.
Wednesday, November 29, 2023: The 14-day Open Public Comment Period begins
Tuesday, December 12, 2023: The 14-day Open Public Comment Period ends
Saturday, December 16, 2023: Voting period begins, ballots will be sent to SCC members
Saturday, December 23, 2023: Voting period ends
Saturday, December 30, 2023: Deadline to certify the votes
Tuesday, January 02, 2024: Deadline to publish results
