Party Affairs Update

Update From Party Affairs Director, Hayden Cuffman

As of March 18, 2020

I’m working alongside the rest of Team DPNM to come up with plans to keep every county Democratic Party moving forward and to help Democrats around the state adapt.

On March 16th, we successfully conducted our first online training — a webinar on the delegate selection process — and we’re looking forward to offering these safe and accessible options to all Democrats around the state. We’re working on best practices for virtual meetings, and we have begun to work with our county parties to transition their regular meetings, informational sessions, and candidate forums online.

COVID-19 will be disruptive, and will seriously alter how our state and county parties conduct business for the forseeable future — but our party is innovative and ready to adapt, and we are hard at work to develop the kind of strategies we need to win in 2020.
