While Yvette Herrell misrepresented how extreme her record is and avoided substantive discussion on the issues at tonight’s televised debate on KOB, Gabe Vasquez gave viewers his plans on the best path forward for New Mexico’s Second District. Without a doubt, Gabe Vasquez presented a more comprehensive plan to improve life for the people of the Second District.

On issues like reproductive rights and undermining faith in our elections, Yvette Herrell tried to hide her extreme positions from voters as Gabe Vasquez held her to task on her record. On other issues like smart crime solutions, job creation and energy, Herrell espoused national GOP talking points while failing to present actual plans.

Her record as an extremist is the last thing she wants voters to see while she continues to slip in the polls.”
