I humbly suggest that, given the huge diversity within the Congressional District 3, that there is likely no ideal candidate for this position. It is more likely that individual candidates will offer equal diversity, both in strengths and in weaknesses. Imperfect. Still, I thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself.
I am a multicultural woman who was raised in the early 1960’s, an era of extreme racism. For that reason, I learned the importance of respecting all cultures. I also learned how to combat the notion that anyone is “less than”.
Professionally, I began in the field of medical biochemistry. I transitioned into education. I hold a Level III secondary science certificate and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
I ask that I be considered as the person you chose to support all peoples of CD-3 as your Vice Chair.
