Update from the Data Director, Adam Daugherty
As of March 18, 2020
Our Data team is working to make sure our candidates and campaigns have everything they need to organize voters while social distancing. We’re coordinating closely with campaigns to understand their needs and adjust DPNM’s capabilities and trainings to meet that demand.
Our Data team will also be building out infrastructure to support Democratic Field Operations. Online organizing, phone banking, and texting are great ways to reach people remotely. The Data team will be making sure that there are tools in place for campaigns to utilize as they continue to reach out to voters using these methods.
DPNM is also ramping up Field Operations over the next few months. Our Data team will be getting volunteers set up with the tools they need to reach out to Democrats across New Mexico and ensure that they are prepared to vote absentee or in person in upcoming elections.
Throughout the next few weeks, we’ll be making sure that DPNM, campaigns, and candidates are making the best of these tools while we press on toward November!
